I think we all want to find someone who brings joy into our lives. Someone who makes you smile throughout the day even when they’re not near, someone who you look forward to seeing and sharing smiles and laughter with when things are going great, and someone who you look forward to seeing and being close to when things aren’t going so great. Truth is, I’m no different.

I've read and I've been told that statistically I'm about 1 in 6. I'm hoping to find someone who is also 1 in 6, and more importantly, I hoping to find someone who is one in a million... to me. I'd to meet someone where we don't have to have "that" talk.

Friends might describe me as likeable, friendly, witty, one who tends to make the most of even a difficult situation, one who can infuse humor in or a take lighthearted approach and or view on somewhat difficult situations, but is still sincere and wise enough to know how to handle those types of situations. They may say that I tend to be a bit low keyed but not lazy, that I may not be the life of the party, but there are always people smiling and laughing in the small groups or tables I am at. The average Joe on the street might say I always seem to have a nice word for everyone, that I tend to wear a smile more often than not. Other folks may say I've seen him in quite a few of those goofy 50 and 100 mile ultramarthon races, I've seen him coaching kids basketball, I've seen him at the library and at bookstores, I've seen him at concerts, at live performances and cultural events, on the trails, on and in, and around the water, and even dangling from elastic off some bridge, and I don't think he was pushed off.

About Her: She's friendly, she smiles, she's conscious of her appearance but not overly obsessive, she can prim/primp it up, or take it down very casual, but doesn't wear sweats or jeans all the time, she's culturally stylish/diverse, she's hip but not trendy, she has a good sense of self/humor/style, she's a class act, but down to earth, she's honest, she's true to her heart, her word, and to herself, she has integrity, is impeccable with her word, but can in her own adorable way toss a wink and a cute little white lie here and there with the best of them, she's up for new things and adventures and old ones too, she enjoys exploring beyond the mainstream, she's a bummin' around town gal, she's a let's go campin' gal, she’s a let's go see a show or play girl, she may not know the writings of Arundhati Roy but she is socially conscious and does what she can to make the world a better place, she may not know the poems "The Invitation" or "The Dance" by OM Dreamer but the words when read by her are those words that ring true for her. She's fit -physically, emotionally, and cerebrally, and really doesn't need fixing. She's passionate about life, has a positive attitude and is thoughtful, affectionate, compassionate, attractive, healthy, smart, open, communicative, spiritual, mature, and playful, and can be silly and goofy, (but not stupid). She's all this and more, but she's not a smoker, not a republican, or on any of those little pharmaceuticals that help her get through the day or cope.
