I am an easy-going, principled, sincere guy. I am very busy with my job (teacher, coach and athletic director) and with being a part- time parent (actually, a full-time parent operating with part- time hours), so I thought I\\\'d try this web-site.

Attempting to describe myself is not easy. I know you gals often state in your profiles that you want \\\"A guy who knows who he is/ knows what he wants,\\\" but the truth (in my mind, at least) is that life is a journey, and I don\\\'t have all the answers in my mid-30s. I do know I want somebody to discover them with me and enjoy the ride along the way.

Basically, I have lived and learned enough to know that what I want in a companion is, first and foremost, a friend. I believe that a successful relationship primarily boils down to two things: attraction and compatibility. Attraction (let\\\'s face it; there are no virgins on this site) plays a role, particularly in the beginning. Compatibility becomes more important as time passes. Relationships are about meeting in the middle, and if you start from a place that is close to your partner, you don\\\'t have as far to go!

Well, anybody feel like our starting points are close?
