I’ve been told I have a lot to offer (by unpaid spokespersons). You can judge from the label that was stuck to my back at the factory: smart, attractive, in great shape, sensitive enough to be gay (I certainly don’t have the wardrobe, though), stable, shy (might even say that I’m sometimes awkward around people), brooding, goal-oriented achiever. Notice that the word “fun” did not appear. That’s because I really need to be coerced to get out there and go dancing (which I can do), or travel, or go to a movie, though when I do those things, I always enjoy them. I rarely take work home with me, but I find work in all my pleasures. It’s important to me to learn something from what I do, or build something; I don’t do well as an idler. In fact I kicked my t.v. out of the house in February, and it may never come back.

My current stint is as a computer programmer, but I have also been a bartender, a philosophy grad student and a pool hall manager. I’ve just enrolled in a Master’s program, so I’m nailed down for the next little while.

Those who venture to pair up with me get a lot of attention and effort, and I tend to become more curious and interested the further in I go. That is, as long as we’re the right type of people for each other. Just the basics about you: mind, body and spirit are all well-developed. You’re an intellectual and an achiever. Maybe you’ve even resented being told that you think too much, or that what you’re doing just isn’t practical and won’t get you ahead in life. Don’t listen to them. You don’t even need to be a happy person to please me; just be what you are. Well…if what you are is smart, introspective and in great shape.
