I'm more looking for a long-term relationship. I would say I'm shy around people I don't know well, but stick around for a little bit and I'll open up. I'm quirky, with a slightly odd sense of humor. I tend to prepare for the worst, but hope for the best. I can be stubborn, but I know when I've been beaten, too. I have a very fierce sense of loyalty to the few considered my chosen family. I'm generally and honest person, but if I don't want someone to know something, they won't know. Sometimes, more often than most other people, I need to go off and be alone for a while. I tend to be overstressed a lot more than is probably good for me. I have been documented with depression, but thanks to continued medicinal therapy, it has very much been kept under control. I've always worked in foodservice and retail, but I'm trying to get out of that field right now. For fun, I generally partake of herbal refreshment and just hang out with some friends, or sometimes stay in and hang out with my cats or read a good book. Music is a very important part of me, it moves me in a way it doesn't for most other people. I generally listen to rock or alternative rock, but I do like to mix it up with just about everything else. Everyone says I have pretty eyes, but I've been complimented on other body parts as well. I was never one to set too many standards when it comes to the dating game. I don't ask for much; similar tastes in things you enjoy the most, but enough difference to shake it up sometimes. He has to be able to make me laugh. I can't handle a man who takes longer than I do in the bathroom while getting ready or taking a shower. Money is of no import to me, so long as one has a roof over one's head and some bare necessities.
