I'm still new to this- I found out in October of 2005. I guess the term is asymptomatic, and it was a shock to me as it is to everybody, but especially because I've NEVER had symptoms. I've come to realize that it's not the end of the world; maybe I'm taking this too lightly, but I'm just trying to think of this as a really big hassle - something that limits the pool of people in this world that you can be intimate with, but it's still a pretty big pool to swim in.

I've heard that you can have a great social life as a member of this "club" and I want to find out if that's true. I love going out to see sporting events and live music, as well as going to the few clubs and bars in metro DC that play good music, not the usual crap you hear everywhere- the Dewey Beach soundtrack. I love going to the well known local music venues and go to lots of Orioles, Nationals, Wizards, Capitals, and college games.

I work for a non-profit on behalf of animals, and am a big history and architecture buff. I've got a lot of varied interests think that I can converse with almost anybody about anything. I'd love to get the ball rolling, so send me a PSST!
